All of these? One of these in particular?
That’s where a coach comes in! “Coaching” is an on-going, thought-provoking, professional relationship in which a coach provides support to develop the skills, resources, and creativity, in order to maximize their personal and professional potential, to achieve their stated goals, and to enhance the quality of their lives. A coach works with clients who are mentally healthy and usually in a good place, but who want help getting past barriers in order to achieve specific goals in life. Coaches help clients experience life on a higher plane, to maximize their personal and professional potential, to know themselves better, and to enjoy relationships more fully.
My name is Barry Cervantes. I live in St. Louis, in the Central West End. I am single parent of two lovely “almost-adult” children: a daughter Holly in college and a son Connor in high school.
I founded and then managed for 20 years Gateway Insurance (a specialty insurance underwriter in 36 states with more than $40 million in revenue) before I sold it in Dec 2005. So, I “get it”. In addition of these 20 years of business experience including an MBA from Saint Louis University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Santa Clara, I also bring the experience of civic/community service, non-for-profit service, and spiritual facilitation. (I am a Stephen Minister through Salem United Methodist Church).
I am a licensed Mindset for Success coach through the Gardner Institute in Dallas, Texas. I am also a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
By leading you through “The Dialogues”, we can identify what you want and how to get there. The “Mindset for Success” approach to coaching guides every client through a twelve stage program called “The Dialogues”. Each Dialogue builds sequentially on the one preceding it, taking the client on a reflective, interactive, applicational journey of self-discovery and personal growth. As a result of the Dialogue experience, my clients characteristically come to enjoy deeper, more fulfilling relationships, a greater sense of personal satisfaction and contentment, and an abundance of successes, such as increased income, a stronger marriage, or the realization of life dreams. By using this process, I can help you find your strengths, walk through your fears, and create the fulfillment in your life that you want and deserve. By creating significance in my life and in the lives of others, I know I can help.
